ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 26, 2009) German combat support ship Frankfurt AM Main (AM 1412) comes alongside USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) for a mock underway replenishment during the 50th iteration of UNITAS Gold. UNITAS is a multinational maritime exercise with forces from Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Equador, Germany, Mexico, Peru, the United States and Uruguay practicing Naval tactics in a joint forces environment.
